Manolo Colmenero | Master

International Stylist & Image Consultant, Salon Owner

Manuel Colmenero was born near Barcelona in southern Spain and is known by most simply as Manolo. Manolo studied at Epallargas in Taragonna, Spain, an academically-focused and highly-acclaimed vocational school, and graduated with honors at only 16 years old.

After graduating in 1983, Manolo simultaneously worked as a stylist and attended L’Oreal’s Academy and earned specialized certifications in style cuts and color chemical composition and application. He also completed product knowledge training for Kérastase and obtained noteworthy certifications as a make-up artist and image consultant.

While still living in Spain, Manolo worked as an associate under the world-renowned Lluís Llongueras, whose original styling method revolutionized the hairdressing industry. From 1985 to 1992, Manolo served as the Artistic Director for two Llongueras Salons, not only working the salon, but handling managerial responsibilities and building the business aswell. Manolo was chosen by Llongueras as one of only 20 stylists from all over Spain for the distinct honor to provide stylist services at the 1992 Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona.

Manolo left his native country in 1992 to bring his talents as a hairstylist and image consultant to the U.S. market place. He was the first to introduce the U.S.to the Llongueras styling method. While working as Artistic Director for a high-end salon in Dallas, helearned to speak English and attained his Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Miami in 1998.

By 1999, Manolo was working, teaching and producing hair shows that set the trends for those in his industry to follow. Inspired to broaden his career vision, he launched the first Manolo Salons, a premium full-service salon offering a wide range of image consulting, hair, spa and beauty services, located in the fashion and retail center in Dallas, Texas.

While establishing his own name and successful salon, Manolo maintained his relationship with Llongueras. In November of 2005, Manolo opened the first Llongueras Salon in the U.S. in the exclusive University Park area of Dallas. Alongside his wife Elva, he managed the salon until 2013, when the name changed to Manolo Salons, and Elva assumed managerial responsibilities and took over leading the team of stylists.

In 2014, Manolo joined the Lakmé USA Educational Team. As Creative Artist, Manolo will assist National Director of Education, Arda Itez in facilitating presentations and shows in the markets throughout the United States.

The many years of working with Llongueras, traveling through Europe, Mexico and the U.S. have given Manolo a truly global perspective for the definition of style. Even with more than three decades in the beauty industry, Manolo remains a pioneer for continuing education and innovative techniques that inspire clients and other salon professionals worldwide.

Ingrity DaSilva is a talented Stylist at our Dallas Salon. She works directly with the owner and Lead Stylist of Manolo Salons, Manuel Colmenero.

Ingrity graduated from beauty school in 2004 and began working for a local salon. When the opportunity to work with Manolo Salons came to her in 2008, she eagerly made the move. She quickly adopted the responsibility of color specialist and is certified to perform Keratin treatments and hair extensions.

Her enthusiasm for the art of her profession contributes well to our environment where friendly, high standards of service are consistently expected and fulfilled.

Kayla De La Rosa | Level 3 | Licensed in 2011

Kayla De La Rosa is Manolo Salon’s newest junior assistant. Direct from school, Kayla has been training with Manolo for the last few years and feels very fortunate to be working under one of the best stylists in Dallas. “There is much I admire about Manolo’s talent. I know it is the very best place to learn and to begin my future in the industry. The future at Manolo Salons is exciting and I am so happy to be a part of his team.”

Mina Hami | Master

Mina Hami brings over two decades of experience, training, and leadership to the Beauty Salon, Hair Care, and Personal Care Industry. Mina has been trained in Europe, and honed her skills working within prestigious salons such as Toni & Guy Salon and Alan Stone Salon.

Mina has been an owner and proprietor of her own Beauty and Personal Care Salon in the past, and is passionate in bringing her client ’ s vision to reality. Mina is focused on providing a superior level of service and salon experience to her clientele, and prides herself on the diversity and longevity of the relationships she maintains with her customer base.

The greatest pride Mina has is bringing joy to the people she works with, and helping them achieve their styling dreams. She looks forward to servicing all clients and showing them the level of service which only Manolo Salon can provide!

Arzu Ors | Esthetician

Certified in Guinot – Peelings – MD Pen Treatments

Arzu Ors is a medical esthetician at Manolo Salons Snider Plaza. Arzu studied biology and chemistry and after receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Methodology, she decided to pursue her passion and begin a career in aesthetics.

“This is my passion,” Arzu said. “If I didn’t need to make a living, I’d be doing it every day anyways. It’s my life.”

With more than 14 years experience as a medical esthetician, Arzu is skilled in evaluating skin types and determining the best solutions for each individual. Prior to joining Manolo Salons she worked as an esthetician at the Advanced Aesthetics Institute-Georgette Klinger and was celebrated as one of the best facialists in Dallas by D Magazine in 2004.

Arzu has worked and trained with Dr. Ben Johnson at Southwest Medical Center and has also provided pre- and post-operative skin care services while working with Dr. Rod Rohrich, one of the most renowned plastic surgeons in Dallas.

Arzu is certified to provide a wide variety of services and procedures, including facial scrubs, skin tightening, chemical peels, microdermabrasions and the well-known Beverly Hills Stars Facial. She specializes in helping patients minimize the appearance of various skin imperfections such as acne or surgical scars. She also helps to reduce the effects of aging on the skin and is specially trained in the removal of eight different skin lesions.
